I will be owning this kit in a few months. I think I'm gonna do my v8 swap first.

Still not clear what you mean by under core support and under cab ? I'm in Missouri, you got to "Show Me". Please

Look at your "leaf springs" on the rear of your rig... They have a bolted end and an end bolted with somewhat of a swivel to allow movement... The swivel type end is called a "shackle"... Every S10 has them in the rear so yours will have them...

Now, what they are saying is the "shackle" may be mounted on one end or the other of the spring... On the rear for example it is on the rear side of the spring... On the SFA kit mentioned above it may be on the front (under the radiator core support side) or the rear (under the cab floor side)...

To further see what is being said, look at the SFA rigs front leaf springs in the SFA Rig section at the top of the page...

Thanks for clearing that up. I've never seen the front spring shackles at the front of the springs. Why would you do it that way ?

Will these kits also cover the ZR2 trucks?

I would still like to know why you would put your front axle leaf spring shackles on the front end of the springs.

the 94 and up kits have shackles in the rear. i had shackles on the front of mine for a while and they worked great. i only see a problem if the front shackles are really long...

I was looking into a post on s10 forums and 3 leaf had a post about their bolt on sas product. As of right now, it will only fit the first gens, no ZR2's because the frame is "unique" and he doesn't know about the 2nd gens yet because the frame is slightly bigger the the mounting locations are in a slightly different locations. he said the 2nd gen 2WD have a slightly smaller frame and "could" maybe work, but he has not tried it. He will need a guinie pig and as of the post he hasn't tried it yet.
