First S10Extremist Bash

May 2000

Eldorado North Carolina USA

After Dutch John the group decided to take a little breather by tackling Rocky Mountain Loop then onto Daniel. Once about 100 yards into Daniel, the group encountered a long uphill zig zag trail that averages 45 degrees. About half way up, they encountered a 60+ degree slope, with a sharp 65 degree turn at the end that had the right tires on solid
tires and with the left ones on loosely packed gravel that creates a high rollover hazard.

Once done with Daniel, the group proceeded again through Rocky Mountain loop for the easier trail of the day, the Sawmill. Sawmill was more like Falls Dam then the rest, but gave the group plenty more of the wonderful views encounter throughout the trip. Sunday night brought the rain that the Jamboree participants were waiting for. So come
Monday morning it was off for some playful romping in the mud pit on Falls Dam before it was time for everyone to bid farewell with promises to attend next year.

All the participants of the Jamboree wish to thank the webmastersl for the terrific planning of the event and plans for next year's event are already forming, to be held on the weekend of May 18-20, 2001. If you're interested  please stop by the
